my audio is super laggy and is falling behind in videos. Seems to be fine in menus. Have tried to switch between low and high graphic settings. nothing has worked! and its not the device. What do I do?

Have you tried deleting the sound drivers & reinstalling them again.

Go to Options and check "Disable Accelerated 3D Audio".

I would guess W3 as apparently this has become the official W3 form since GOG Galaxy was released. :)
