I find it hard to get offended by a game with such low production values. The developer themselves was trying to make a point at how sensitive and political people are getting. Truth be told I think it's a good point.

The most offensive game I've ever seen though (because I refuse to play it) is rapelay.

What you and the developer seem to be unaware of is the fact that in all sorts of parts of the world, people are still killed for their sexuality and/or gender identity. The reason no one would care if someone made a game called "Kill Straight White Males!" is because few if - if any - people are oppressed for being straight, white or male so the game wouldn't be taken seriously. The fact that the game specifically targets a genuinely oppressed minority is the reason people take it more seriously.

So I completely disagree that the dev makes a good point. There's also this lovely bit in his 'statement': Implying that homophobia is sometimes somehow justified? What a dick.

People are killed for all sorts of reasons. Why does it matter if someone is killed over their sexuality then say because they were mugged. I don't think it matters. If an innocent person is bullied, beaten or killed. The reason really doesn't matter.

My point is you can get bullied for being short and no one will care but if it's because you're gay then people will start caring. Bullying is bad no matter who the demographic is.

Well, considering the necro was "I sort of think the dev has a point" it might do...

First of all, this was a trolling game, not serious. Then, i am not a dev, of course. Also, don't worry, this was just a social experiment, this particular game is going to be an incorporated minigame, inside another, bigger, better game, which is already greenlit and mid production (won't say name, though). All in all, it was hilarious and not meant to be taken seriously.

Finally, i like LGBT and i fully support all their rights, minus adoption. They are a wonderful movement which brings out exquisite aftereffects and is going to spread chaos, chances and opportunism, my god i love chaos and opportunism, i already basked in it fully!

I am a straight hetero but bro to this movement. Besides, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Certain medieval crap (ideas/religions) keeping people trapped and in blindfolds need to perish, soon and bad. Freedom of choice is a wonderful thing and everyone is entitled to it.

i think that Japanese anime game about rape is more offensive than both. Hatred isn't offensive, it is blatant try at selling a mediocre shooter through hype and it worked, all the kiddies bought it even though the gameplay was the pits. The other game, well yeah, I fail to see anyone being offended at that unless they were just looking to be offended.
