Wishbone: How the hell? It looks like a management sim. Nothing in the video or screenshots suggest a clicker game. What are you supposed to click? And what does it accomplish?

KneeTheCap: You click on the buildings to speed up the action and when it's done, you click on the same building to collect money. Or fans. Or fame.
mmmm, I'll try to play the game this week (I insta-bought it) and take notes of the pro/cons design of the game. I still haven't played Lula Sexy Empire too so it would be interesting to make comparisons.

Overall, what kind of game mechanics were you expecting before playing the game? Did you like some game features and which? What would you improve on what's already existing?

CharlesGrey: Quite literally -- It looks like its target audience are 13 year old boys. :/

timppu: How about 13 year old lesbian girls? Does it work for them too? I saw in a trailer that there was one lesbian and one bisexual character, after all.
I think 13 year old girls like feminine gay boys... Not sure if that's also true for 13 year old lesbian girls, or only "straight" ones. This stuff is confusing!
The graphics (girls) on this one look awful compared to HuniePop. What happened to the quality?

KneeTheCap: HuniePop was, and still is, a great puzzle game. I am not even kidding.
Speaking of HuniePop, does HunieCam Studio have a way of actually exiting the game, other than switching out of fullscreen and forcibly closing the window?

Pressing and holding the power button for more than five seconds. :)
so, no more bejeweled in this new version? ;(

Ophelium: Got it free from supporting the HuniePop kickstarter...just not sure if I want to play it.
Well, I'll trade you if you don't want it :)

There's an exit button in the main screen, yeah :D

Terrible optimization on PC, seems like the main menu doesn't even have an exit button. ALT+F4 is your only escape.
Or "moving your mouse to the top right corner and waiting until the red X appears".

Some things not being mentioned here.. Developer of the Hunie games had done a Q & A after the cam game was released.

The art style he chose was from someone that did some fan art of one of the characters from the first game and he really liked the style so asked for that person to do the art for the next game.

The developer used to work on Facebook games for different companies. Doesn't mention which games because they all didn't make the final cut/didn't do well and fell off the map quickly. Later went off and started making the games he wanted to.

He wanted to keep trying different things instead of just making one kind of game. Feels better about having tried different things instead of, say, making Huniepop 2 and going from there.

Huniecam was in the works before Huniepop was even finished and put up for sale. Has another idea for a game but doesn't want to talk about what his next work will be just yet. Is working on something, though.

Says his games aren't particularly deep and doesn't have a problem with that. Likes that he chooses the worst types of women to put in these games because it amuses him with how well it still works together.

Huniecam isn't meant to be a very long game and just something to play a little here and there. No micro transactions are in the game though it plays like a Facebook game. You get a full game for just the one price.

As with nearly all AAA games nowadays, day one is more like a public QA session rather than enjoying the game ;)

I wonder, the people who complain about the art in Huniepop are the same as the ones who love pixel art or different ones...
