Every time GOG announces a deal on Activision games (thank you, GOG!), I keep hoping for announcements of new titles (new to GOG, anyway) prised out of the vaults of Activision's LA office.

And of course it never happens. I know life is full of disappointments -- who doesn't know it by now?! -- but GOG, that's no reason to keep adding to them! ;-)

Especially since the announcement e.mail uses a banner of Cleopatra to announce the deal. I was *so* hoping that might mean they finally had Emperor available to complete the Impressions set. (Though I suspect they would then use a banner from "Emperor" ... and so many people want it, I doubt they'd launch it at a bargain price ...)

Oh, what's the point? I know, it's all been said so many times ... sorry ... I just had to vent, to release the nervous energy. Oy.

It's Activision's mistake. They just lose a lot of money.

Every time I see an Activision sale come up I start gnashing my teeth.

There are many games that they sadly hold the rights to that I would instantly buy here, but Activision is too blind stupid to support the site.

Yup, yup. From all the big publishers that GOG deals with, Activision is the one who hasn't released anything here for the loooooooooonnnnnnngggggggest time (currently 1250 days since their last release).

I'd probably re-buy prototype 1&2 if they came here... On heavy discount of course :P SquareEnix, CapCom, Ubisoft, EA, Etc. (tiny scraps i'm not sure if they count)

Seriously though it is unfortunate, but at least we got more Ubisoft recently.

I see this sale as an opportunity to complete your Activision catalogue, maybe everyone has done that already but I have not so there's definitely a few games in there that I'm going to get.

If Activision wants to release new games however is totally up to them. God knows what direction they will go now when Activision-Blizzard bought King.com (and therefor Candy Crush Saga for example).

I will do same thing + re-buy some other Activision games if they appear on GOG. Come on Activision! :-D
