After 15 years of trying to get there, I finally managed to secure tickets to see AC/DC *my favourite band* on tour. So psyched!

Any one else been or going on the "Rock or Bust" tour?!

Can i ask? What do you think of Iced Earth's cover of AC/DC's Highway to Hell?

I'm not a big fan of the band but their cover was very faithful and that guitar tone is fantastic. Nothing will beat the original. But the Iced Earth covers album is good fun.

My absolute fav song is their version of KISS' God of Thunder which they made a more metal version of it:

That song couldn't any more metal than the original. But it is a fantastic cover song. Definitely improved on it. Saying that, when you record the song live in a stadium it's not going to have the same punch.
Is it a DRM-free tour?
I saw them at the Black Ice tour; One of the best concerts I've ever attended to (and I've been in countless concerts).. hell if I know how much beer had I drunk that day! :-)

As for Iced Earth, I like their cover very much, as I like Six Feet Under's ACDC covers too! :D
If anyone cares...

It wasn't an ass hole free one. So many pricks in a small building. Such a waste of money.

If you really loved the band (and I do) you wouldn't of wanted to be there. Read the page I just linked and see the shit I had to put up with. I can't stand up right now because of the way the crowd were acting.

yeah, I was just reading it...
sadly it didn't sound like a great night, hopefully you have better experiences in the future. Just wondering are you still planning on seeing them again, just at a different location or never again?
I myself haven't even been to a single concert (any band, at all, yeah kind of embarrassing :P )and hopefully get to see them at least once live.

Honestly, if I were I would need a very good reason to and I most certainly would leave the country to do it. I am genuinely shocked and embarrassed at how the crowd reacted tonight.

A slight taster of what they were like. This nice young fellow came over from Hungary with his brother to attend the show. These cunts pulls at his hair, punched him in the face and threw him to the floor just to get in front. I have attended a lot of rowdy shows, but this is the first time in 15 yrs I have seen something so horrible.

oh man, this is just sounding worse and worse... (I don't know if i would want to go anywhere near that place :P ) Better luck to your next concert, AC/DC or another band. I can't imagine having all that excitement building for 15 years to end like that...

And on a side note, you ever heard of a band called Hardbone? They made their way up my favorite band list pretty quick.

I havent but I'll be sure to check it out.

To say the feeling is a little disappointed and depressing is an understatement.
