Hi everyone!

So I just went to GOG Galaxy to launch W3, and for whatever reason I went to the setting section and saw that my new and fabulous email address is miha.loling...AT...yandex.ru
That is not my email.

So I suppose I was hacked :'(

I can still post here because GOG still recognize me (YAY Cookies!), but I can't log in to change the email/password, because the password was obviously changed.

I sent a support request through GOG website (BPRCPSGJ), I guess I'll just have to wait, being a sunday and all.

Is there something else I should be doing?

Than you all,

Snoop'

No,just wait and don't send in a second one because it will become first one.

I must admit, the password I used wasn't that hard to crack. But still wasn't a 12345 or qwerty type of password...

I never really used GOG before W3, so I didn't think to use a stronger password like I use on Google and the like.

Time to learn I guess :D

Do you mean there's been a big amount of password stolen recently?

I think this is the 4th.
Did you use the same password on another website? If the other website was hacked and they had acess to your email address and the password for that website then they could be trying different websites/services to see if they hit the jackpot.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking at. I'm changing the password everywhere I've used it. Luckily, I never used it on website with sensitive information.

Yeah I think it's time for me to do a bit of dusting, and switch to a more robust system like yours. :D

Oh and I just saw that I'm now in the Russian Federation! Go Putin! :D

But regarding the hack, I often go to Eastern Europe (Mostly Poland and Ukraine) to visit some family, maybe I was hacked back there.
What's the point of stealing these accounts?
Pretty much every GOG game is available as a torrent.
