Madmind Studio is a game development studio created in 2016 that comprises veteran game developers determined to create the best possible, visually stunning games with unique atmospheres. They’re primarily known for their intense and brutal Succubus, and now…

Their 3 new horror games will soon join our catalog: TORMENTOR, PARANOID, and Agony: Lords of Hell.

TORMENTOR
Is an action adventure horror title in which you’ll take on the role of a ruthless tormentor who manages an abandoned prison full of victims sentenced to death. Fight against a developing mental illness that takes away your memories and causes more and more frequent and dangerous fainting. Work with an organized criminal group using darkweb to get more doses of the experimental drug that helps to keep your mind sober.

PARANOID
Exploration FPS that tells a psychedelic horror story of Patrick Calman, a 31-year-old man who lost his entire family in mysterious circumstances - his parents died in a brutal way, and his sister suddenly disappeared for unknown reasons. One day he receives a phone call from his sister, who announces her visit more than a dozen years after she disappeared.

Agony: Lords of Hell
An RTS city builder in which you take over the chaos of hell, which from the moment of when it was abandoned by its original rulers, is consumed with never-ending wars. Become the new king of the underworld - Nimrod, who with his demonic partner Vydija, begins the construction of his empire, conquering more land.

Make sure to wishlist them now so you won’t miss their releases or any special offers!
To each their own, but after watching a trailer for Tormentor...not my cup of coffee.
They should rename TORMENTOR to The Dentist Simulator.

Getting Void Slayer would be nice too.

Yeah...that's basically:
"torture porn - the game...fully interactive! - for the people who are tired of just watching the movies"

Can't wait for the first RL murders to happen, where - after they got the culprit - they find this "game" on his HDD.

smh

From the description it seemed like a wholesome fun for whole family...
I recall many GOG customers being upset at Madmind because they have, according to those posters, not provided updates to their games on GOG in a timely manner, if at all; and also some of their games are missing some Achievements.

Have they ever resolved those problems?
I got halfway through the trailer for Tormentor, before I had to give up. It seems to be one long torture session! (or maybe lessons on how-to torture? O_o) Too crazy for me lol. More power to those that can handle this type of game.

Took a while but the previously missing Red Goddess content has been added, therefore Succubus should be feature complete(?).
In fact, GoG actually has the edge over other platforms on Succubus-related content when the Hellish Orgy VR thing releases.
Reminder that Hatred is too hardcore for GOG though.
*looks at Tormentor trailer*

...and that's enough Internet for today. Maybe I should buy me a Switch or something.

I agree with you. I don't know, it seems to me that these kinds of titles encourage the darkest passions of human beings. Although nowadays one has to be very careful, people are often deceived by appearances. In any case, it will be a controversial title.
Mmmh... doesn't look like something I'd enjoy much, but I'm tempted to buy just to show my support for GOG & the dev for having the balls to go ahead with something controversial. For me there are no taboos in fiction, and I only hope more devs are open to experimenting with topics and ideas off the beaten path.

Yes and no. Succubus is as far as I know now finally up to date. The original Agony is still at release 1 (meaning without any patches) and has been this way since release. So far Madmind treated GOG like crap and when GOGers asked on discord they were treated bad as well or simply ignored. Madmind was complaining about the fact how difficult it would be to to update GOG and now they decided to go exclusive on GOG and in their press release they praise how GOG does not censor and how this platform is so great ... kind of ironic to me. I am honestly not sure if I want to trust them again - and I like controversial fictional stuff.

That sounds disappoining.. but who knows, maybe they had a change of heart and would see the store and its community differently from now on? I wonder what the response would be now if someone asked them about the outdated title..

I can try again but here's what I already tried:
1) Asked GOG to contact Madmind about it.
2) Asked Madmind on disord.
3) Asked Madmind on discord using DM.

Every single time they completely ignored me - or GOG ...
I will try to post on their discord again and depending on the fact if they ignore it again or not I MIGHT have a change of heart myself ;)
