Look where the developer is located, where GOG is located and what is happening in that area atm.

Whether you agree with it or not, that will tell you all you need to know about why the dev is getting a special treatment right now.

Do not buy these in order to support some country, buy proper products instead.

These "games" do not satisfy the normal GOG requirements for a game to be released on GOG.

You buy games for whichever reasons you want to buy games be it because you are curious about the game, want to show support for victims of war or a combination of those two reasons, oh dear poster from some "other" country.

Personally, I was mildly curious about some of the games and 1-2$ was about the price point I was willing to accept to satisfy my curiosity, though of course the location of the developer didn't hurt either.

Frogwares or GSC deserve any cent you purchase on their games. You can support them and take advantage of your money. There is no excuse to buy bad games.

I wonder how will Gog manipulate the top sellers list with these bundles .

There are a number of Ukrainian developers on GOG with good, complete games.

Why is GOG constantly pushing asset-flips by Whale Rock Games... and... seemingly protecting their (Whale Rock's) dubious reviews / scores (and allegedly manipulating the "top sellers list")?

Something is going on here...

Dear GOG, I understand that you want to help developers from that country. But do you realize that selling bad games destroyed both you and the developer's credibility?
There's a lot of developers and publishers that came from various smaller countries trying to prove themselves as good developer/publisher by making the best game they can. Because they want to make themselves and their country look good in international eyes and of course personal pride.
And yet, this game developer, with their asset flip and bad games is selling their terrible games with exorbitant price, then gave a huge discount to entice people to buy it. This is very similar to Action 52's modus operandi.

So please Whale Rock, you guys shamed your fellow developers from your country by doing this.

Whale Rock content is on the third Bestselling page but not the first two, from what I can tell. I don't think it was manipulated.

How can whale rock "manipulate" the top sellers list? if they buy their own game, they will lose money, because GOG takes a cut. Are you saying GOG is manipulating it? I don't think so, they're nowhere near the top, nor the first few pages.

Maybe they can write some fake reviews, but I don't think anyone is manipulating any sales data here.
