At GOG, we’re not slowing down for one minute – and bringing in two exciting releases to join your library. Let’s see what they’re all about!

KeeperRL
This game is a dungeon simulator with roguelike and RPG elements. Take the role of an evil wizard and study the methods of black magic. Equip your minions and explore the world, murder innocent villagers and burn their homes; build your dungeon, lay traps and prepare for an assault of angry heroes.

You can now get it for a -25% launch discount, until March 14th, 6 PM UTC, as well as arm yourself with either its Soundtrack, or both of these titles in a Pack!

Secrets of Grindea
Leaving the Early Access and releasing in its full glory, it’s an old-school Action RPG with co-op support for up to 4 players. It is a tribute to and sometimes a parody of the old SNES games so many of us grew up with and loved. Journey through fantastical lands, and battle tons of different enemies and bosses in your quest for truth, friendship and, above all, finding the world's rarest treasures.

You can also get the Soundtrack – both of these titles launch with a -10% discount, until March 7th, 6 PM UTC!

Now on GOG!
Very nice to see Secrets of Grindea here and finally out of early access. And just when I was in the mood for such a game. :)
Both looks really nice and interesting.
Tho must admit, Secrets of Grindea went for instant purchase. Welcome to GOG!
Secrets of Grindea does look interesting. Does anyone know if it has much of a story/character development? The trailer seems mostly about the action and the name implies that it might be about grinding.

Secrets of Grindea was in EA for... almost 9 years? Holy dev-cycle, Batman! That said, it does look quite fun. Will try the demo found in vaporland first though. ;)
I predict that this text will be censored off of the GOG store page for this game very soon:

Online map sharing

KeeperRL offers the ability to download dungeons made by other players from Steam Workshop, and places them on your world map as enemies. See how others design their fortresses, fight with their minions, and steal their loot! After winning the game, you'll have the option to share your dungeon online as well.

The Gog version seems to have the ability to download mods from Steam workshop in the game itself. Interesting...
Niice, gave KeeperRL a Com Wishlist vote yonks ago.
Insta bought, with the tother one, why not.
Secrets of Grindea sounds cool, can you play it single player without issue or is it really thought to be played in co-op ?
Is there couch co-op ?

KeeperRL is very enjoyable, and it's nice to see it here :)

Not just any editing of already-published media falls under the definition censorship, you know. If a statement on a product page is factually incorrect, then it should be amended. That is called correction, and is to be welcomed.

Sometimes, context matters.

Changing something that is factually incorrect to make it correct would indeed be a correction, and probably should be done. But changing something that is factually incorrect to make it correct, in order to try and hide the fault/embarrassment of making the incorrect statement in the first place, is a type of censorship, and shouldn't be done, possibly in some cases (though I'm not personally entirely sure here) better to amend with a note explaining the situation rather than just "correcting" the falsehood.

Of course, this interpretation, in this specific case, assumes GOG (or the devs? whoever edits the game page) sees obvious copy&paste of game data from another store here, without proper editing, as something that may be embarrassing to them. If they don't, it's just normal way of doing business, then indeed removing it will be just a correction and not censorship.

But also, in this case the statement isn't necessarily even incorrect. It's entirely possible that the game, even the version currently on GOG, would indeed allow to download and use maps from s-workshop. Wouldn't be the first game that can run without s but will try to use it if it detects s running.

If that's the case, one option is for GOG to still just remove the notice from the game page because they don't see it as a good selling point to explicitly mention a partial competitor on the page. That's fairly plausible to happen, and would be a type of censorship since it's intentionally hiding a correct fact about the game, that they previously published, for their own perceived benefit.

Or, an alternative in this scenario, also I assume plausible, would be that they will require the dev to remove the detection and usage of s-workshop on the GOG version. At which point removing the paragraph from the game page would indeed be factually correct and a correction. And also a type of censorship since it hides the fact that the game was altered, to remove a feature that could have been beneficial for some users/customers, for GOG's business reason.

I played the EA version years ago and as far as I remember, the story is pretty basic. Something along the lines of "you are the hero chosen to clear these dungeons and collect stuff" and "thanks for helping the village by doing dungeon 1, now go to the castle and do dungeon 2".

GOG.com: 2 exciting releases: KeeperRL and Secrets of Grindea
So, "KeeperRL" is basically "Dungeon Keeper - The Roguelike"?
I kinda like the looks, but I'm not so sure about the roguelike part...

I noticed, that the store page of "Secrets of Grindea" (nomen est omen?) mentions co-op pretty early on.
And on the "Game features" - list, multiplayer is listed higher up than singleplayer...is that hinting at something?
Nice. Grindea is quite fun. And while you can play multiplayer I never felt like I was missing something when playing alone.

Btw. when playing multiplayer I did so over LAN.

Not sure how important multiplayer is in the game, but as a matter of overall principle, I will not pay more than 50% of the listed price for any game that includes multiplayer as a feature, but with no offline support.

Of course, if the game is predominantly multiplayer, than I won't get it at all unless said multiplayer is offline.

Conversely, I'm usually willing to buy quality games that offer an offline multiplayer at a higher price than I otherwise would, as such games are less common and being able to play a game with your family at home adds a lot of value.
