Boring.

Anyone else ever get the feeling that some mysterious virus has wiped out much of Central Europe and the bundles are on auto update and CarrionCrow will be the only person left, twenty years from now, still seeking refuge in the shelter, dutifully updating the "new" offerings?

-laughing hard- Whether a virus hits or not, I'm not doing this after the sale end date.

And yes, it's gotten extremely boring, but I wouldn't be surprised at GOG feeling like they need to keep their sale going just as long as the competition, that if they condense it, they're effectively leaving money on the table.

I was just hoping they'd spice it up with something - anything - on a mf'ing Tuesday! :)

To me, it looks like 1 to 2 more days of 2 bundles a day, all repeats on the 12 hour deals, then two days of a last chance repeat of all the repeats that have repeated themselves repeatedly.

I'd get more excited, but it all sounds pretty godsdamned repetitive to me.

When the most exciting thing to happen in regard to the sale in the last four days is a mispriced bundle (and a mistake that overcharged for the bundle), the feelings of monotony are inevitable.
Hey guys, do you think Gothic 3 will show up again?

There is 5 days left and 2 "new" offers per day so it's probably sure :)

If they "seeded" a new title in the 12 hour deals every day, that would be something to look forward to with more excitement. As it is, I think I've bought all the individual titles I'm going to. I'm just looking at the new bundles now.
(There are still some games I haven't bought that make me think, "Hmmmm, that looks fun", but they're not on my wishlist. Although, I might have a manic impulse buy episode!)
Did Grimm appear only once or twice till now?

EDIT: nevermind, I see it only appeared one time.

It's probably also a matter of a sale for those bothered by their previous sale formats, those who don't want to risk missing something if they just glance occasionally, and there were quite a few.

Understandable. The sale isn't my speed by any means, but it's advantageous to some, I'm sure.

People who tend to miss faster-paced items should be pleased, I think this is the slowest sale GOG's put on in a while, with the largest amounts of time between item turnover.

I feel the opposite worked worse for my wallet.

When we had only a few deals at a time, there was more conversation about those games, I checked games I knew little about, there was more anticipation and I ended up buying games I had not planned to get. (I got NoX, didn't I?)

With this format I check the bundles, check my wishlist and pretty much pass on anything else.

Likewise. It's a mechanical process with very little in the way of learning about items I hadn't considered.
If my list wasn't as long as my arm, there wouldn't have been much in the way of purchases.
