phaolo: - Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord -> I own the base game. If only this had been an upgrade..
The game is standalone and you can buy it/install it/run it without owning the first one. Besides, even if it's not an upgrade, it's pretty cheap right now (€1.19).

As for the game itself, it's more of the same.

HeDanny: Unrest isn't repeated. Or at at least it is not discounted on my wishlist. bother. :(

All the rest are there tho, so still going to be a great haul for me (and a horrific one for mah wallet)
Only the base version of Unrest was discounted before (and it's discounted now, as well).

phaolo: Ok, this could be my last purchase, unless the Gogbears will catch me.

Opinions on these?
- Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord -> I own the base game. If only this had been an upgrade..
Are you kidding me? Sure Owlverlord doesn't have as many levels as the original but that's why it comes at a far lower price than it. If it is worth the money at base price is certainly debateable (even though I would say it is since it only costs 4.59 €) but are you really hesitating to spend 1.19 € if you liked the base game?

Black Forest games have revived the Giana Sisters franchise, made a fun game with very good graphics, a killer soundtrack and even given us free bonus content (the Halloween and X-Max levels). Please support them with at least 1.19 € instead of grieving that Owlverlord could have been a free update.
Never mind, nothing to see here.

Entrance to the Tower of London used to be free if you bought a dog or cat to feed to the resident lions.

Getcomposted: An addendum to the list. For all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans that gotta catch 'em all, they've changed the bundle contents.
It's now Call of Pripyat and Shadow of Chernobyl for $9.98 ($4.99 each).

So, grabby, grabby. :P
That looks exactly like what they had on day 1. What got changed?

I don't think they changed anything. Hasn't it always been that?

Before it was Clear Sky in place of Shadow of Chernobyl, I thought? Or at least, that's what I thought I saw when I clicked on it on Day One. O_o Do my eyes need checking?

[Edit: Just checked on the list. My eyes do need checking! Or is it my brain? *mutter, grumble*]

edit: nothing to see here move along... well I just realized that I'm complaining about something that Actually Works As Advertized.

Well it seems the http://www.gog.com/games##sort=title&release=1995_2005,a2005&price=discounted&page=9
is NOT displaying all discounted games in the sale after all.
I though It was me being blind that I didn't see Gabriel Knight : sins of the father (original not 20th Anniversary), yet it showed discounted in the recommendations,
But Now I clicked on http://www.gog.com/game/realms_of_arkania_3 in that list to find out weather indeed http://www.gog.com/game/realms_of_arkania_1_2 is not discounted (as it didn't appear in the full list), and what do you know, IT IS DISCOUNTED yet clearly not on the page I linkerd sorted alphabetically :/

-laughs- It's okay. I started thinking I'd screwed the entry up, went back to check it again.

Also, you might have Clear Sky on the brain since it's getting a lot of exposure as the bonus item for 20 dollars of purchases.

Judging by the link you included, you're filtering games released 1995 and after. Gabriel Knight OG was released in '93 :)

Eh, I haven't tried the base game yet, I've already spent a lot in this promo, and I usually don't like unneeded standalones.
I didn't mean "free update", but upgrade of the base game vs separated title.
So, I'm just thinking if buying these last items or just stop.

Yeah I've just realized after posting that I already went through the 1995- list earlier as it was that short so I didn't include it. So all is well after all.
Haven't been here... I kind of forgot.

Too many choices, too many options too little money!

Must choose wisely.

Deus Ex, Paper Sorcerer, Cat Lady, Escape Goat.
Finally finished going through the list and here is everything that interests me (not including the Lucas Film Bundle that I'm still contemplating as I want the original monkey Islands and not pay over 6$ for these... not definitive editions. tough call!).

These I wanted to try for quite some time now, and the price sure is sweet
TROPICO RELOADED $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
KING'S BOUNTY: THE LEGEND $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
TALES OF MAJ'EYAL $1.79 instead of $6.99 (74% off)
TALES OF MAJ'EYAL: ASHES OF URH'ROK $0.99 instead of $3.99 (75% off)
DOUBLE DRAGON TRILOGY $1.99 instead of $5.99 (67% off) {I mainly wanted to try the multiplayer on this one}

I really like Worms but some reviews say there are bugs and compatibility issues?
WORMS UNITED $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
WORMS 2 $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)

While it's about time I get these, as I have the previous... then again I didn't get a chance to actually play them so it could wait
SYSTEM SHOCK™ 2 $1.49 instead of $9.99 (85% off)
DIVINITY 2: DEVELOPER'S CUT $3.99 instead of $19.99 (80% off)

Are they really that good?
NEXUS: THE JUPITER INCIDENT $1.99 instead of $9.99 (80% off)
GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS I: ULTIMATE EDITION $1.99 instead of $9.99 (80% off)

As I don't have time to play them atm, I'm wondering if it may come as a complete set with like 85% or 90% off at some point.
EARTH 2140 TRILOGY $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
EARTH 2150 TRILOGY $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
EARTH 2160 TRILOGY $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)

I didn't like the first one that much... then again I never got that far so I may want to give it another try And The Reviews praise the second
LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE 2 (TWINSEN'S ODYSSEY) $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)

I never even heard of these before the sale, but the price is tempting
BALLADS OF REEMUS, THE: WHEN THE BED BITES $1.29 instead of $4.99 (74% off)
DOWNFALL $1.29 instead of $4.99 (74% off) {Also it seems to be related to The Cat Lady?}

I want those, but already have them "somewhere else", so dunno
JOURNEY OF A ROACH $0.79 instead of $14.99 (95% off)
1954 ALCATRAZ $0.99 instead of $19.99 (95% off)
EDNA & HARVEY: HARVEY'S NEW EYES $0.99 instead of $19.99 (95% off)

It's a platformer. I'm not into those. But I heard good about it and it's a new game for a low price. Why only 2 reviews on its page?!
SCHEIN $1.79 instead of $6.99 (80% off)

Do I really need those? The price is tempting though
POSTAL 2 $0.99 instead of $9.99 (90% off)
SHADOW MAN $1.19 instead of $5.99 (80% off)
ETHAN: METEOR HUNTER $1.49 instead of $5.99 (85% off)

All prices include VAT if applicable, Order total:$34.56 You save $180.20 (84%)
{But I'll probably won't be spending that much. Then again The Lucas Film Bundle...}
