Hey, i just noticed that i joined last May 2014, so i just passed my first year anniversary as a member of this gaming community.

Now i'm not much of a talker, i usually sit back and read, read, read the posts here and grab a few of the freebee games handed out (you are all awesome), but this community just makes me want to talk to you all. I've not seen such an amazing community of like-minded individuals throughout my life... the people here are top-notch, compassionate, respectful and committed to keeping this community as a shining star amongst others.

Please keep doing what you are doing out there, because it helps bring hundreds of people together.

Take care.

No you don't want to talk face to face, some of us smell like donkey.
But you are more than welcome to write posts and create threads we'll happily derail :-)

Sorry!
I'm pissing into your side of Superior as we speak!

Actually that is an arrestable offense so if any members of the DNR are online, I'm joking.

Peeing in the biggest body of freshwater on the planet is arrestable? This is why I trend illegalism in my politics...

The thing is, it's because of laws like that that make Superior still drinkable. Now I wouldn't take a swig out of Duluth harbor, but I could go outside my house and have a drink with no problems at all. Be just as clean if not more so than the shit you buy in bottles.

But peeing in a lake that big (or thousands of times smaller) renders the water still... completely drinkable.

Portland was the laughingstock of the Pacific NW a year or two ago when they emptied a reservoir because a kid was caught peeing in it. They don't measure that in PPM, it's parts per billion or trillion.

Okay we are way derailing here. XD It's the existence of the law itself. If you make it a harsh penalty just to piss in it, exponentially that stops millions of gallons of piss going into the lake every year, but more that that, having such a high penalty makes people refrain from dumping other things into the lake. "Jail for piss? God knows what they'll do if I chuck my motor oil in there; I'd better not."

Hello, fellow lurker.

I figured I couldn't be the only one. :D

On a side note, I have a fair size collection of old games on disc. I have been thinking of giving away, when I get a little extra money for shipping fees. All they do is sit on my shelf and take up space that I want to use for books. Does this sound like a good idea (and suitable derail)?

tinyE, when you call me out for derailing, I truly feel I've made the big time. ;)

OP - thanks for the thread and chime in whenever you want. Whatever you have to say is likely much better than me analyzing the composition of peed-in lake.
