Okay - for those of you with that issue of 'insta-crashing', I have a few steps to try. Of course, the first suggestion is always 'run as administrator'. However, when it's installed - Windows 10 will let you know that it needs admin approval to run the GOG executable.
But right click your shortcut for now. In the location bar - add the function -w, which will tell the program to open in a window. This should resolve the crashing issue for now. If it does, we've realized what the problem is; it's V-Sync. Which this program hates with a passion. So, you'll have to disable V-Sync to have Freedom Force run properly.
(This is the same for Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II)
Freedom Force Vs. The Third Reich supports V-Sync.
Now for the problem I'm having.
When playing - for some reason, clicking on Helper Tags won't bring up the Narration - Clicking on surrendering villains won't bring up their cutscenes - and this narrator issue continues on the Debriefing Screen, because it requires the Narration to walk you through the steps to go to the next mission - and it won't go.
Any solutions for this problem yet?
