Hi!
Just downloaded and installed fallout, trying to start it up from a desktop icon. i get to the standby screen but then it immediately stops and sends me back to my desktop. i get an optimal resolution notification. tried hiding all notifications, didn't work. windows 7, intel(R) Core(TM) i3 cpu, m380 2.53 GHz, 3.80gb available, 64 bit, Intel (R) graphics card.

The first fallout? Go to No Mutants allowed

And try installing this.

Make sure you have the semi-official 1.2 patch installed

The Fallout Fixt compilation patch should help iron out issues with the game. Then on top of that use the hi-res patch to help fix any other display issues.
