It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I just downloaded it, multiple times, and the file is labeled "fallout_1.1.0.7dmg" but once I try to start it (copy out of the dmg) I get this error.

I'm using OSX 10.10.1.

Any ideas?

Yeah, it's a common problem for many Mac users.

Solution can be found in Support section, but in this case it's a little bit tricky as those games are no longer on GOG, so I choose another game. But don't worry, solution is the same for all games. ;)

Game "is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash."
a) Redownload the game using the newest version of the GOG Downloader:
https://secure.gog.com/downloader
To download, make sure the "GOG.com Downloader mode" is switched to ON before clicking the "Game installer" button. After the download is complete, reinstall the game.
b) Use this workaround if using the Download didn't help:
- Go to Applications -> Terminal
- Type in:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine
but don't press Enter.
- Drag the application to the Terminal window, this should add the path.
- Press Enter.

Thanks a lot, this worked :-) (just used xattr, not the gog downloader)
Had the same problem, tried the Terminal approach without downloading with the GOG downloader and nothing happened. Deleted the app and then downloaded with the GOG downloader, tried opening it (without doing the terminal approach this time - although since the file was in the same location as the previous app, it might have still been in effect) and it worked no problem.
