*minor spoilers*

First of all, I'm using my old hard copy of the game. Just installed it on my new Lenovo laptop running W7 64.

The game crashes when the video depicting the water reserves in vault 13 diminishing after a few days wandering the desert. It plays all the intro videos fine but when this video launches the game screen freezes and goes into an audio loop.

Any known fixes for this? I'm willing to disable the videos since I've seen them a million time, but I don't know how to do that. Can't find them in the game files.

Are you using the high resolution patch? If so, try setting MOVIE_SIZE to 0 in your f1_res.ini file. Doing this fixed the exact same problem for me.
