I went to the store yesterday and today. Something was on special today that was not on special yesterday. A buy-one get-one offer, and I didn't get-one when I bought-one yesterday, WAAAHHHHHHHHHH but I'm entitled! You owe me a free-thing!! Seriously?

And another one tries to hold me down in my endeavor to get GOG to support their earliest backers. This is why I'm a warrior and you're not. I'm not afraid to fight and ask for things and state my mind no matter how many people like you want to try to hold me down or attack me for it. You claim I am entitled but I'm fighting for the benefits of every other early backer just the same who bought the Fallout series when GOG wasn't as big as it is today. So my entitlement is their entitlement just the same. This isn't about just me and I didn't use my veteran status to imply I deserve anything for that. I'm being compensated already by the government for that. I brought that story up so that people like you would understand that it was a long difficult battle for me to get those benefits that I literally was burned and bled for.

But people like you would just love to see people like me not get any compensation at all I guess. Just use people up in war and then not give them anything for their injuries in war. Yeah, that's real noble of you. You sound jealous or something. Don't like it? Go join the military and have bullets and mortar rounds shot at you and see how you feel when you come back with burns all down your arm and neck and bullet holes in your abdomen and the loss of a kidney and part of your liver and part of your lung. Trust me, you're gonna want the benefits Uncle Sam promised you before they sent you to war. And you're going to be extremely angry when they deny you compensation and make you fight an appeal battle for YEARS before they admit they should have compensated you to begin with. You'll get a lot of backpay but it won't be enough to cover all the debt you had to rack up while they stalled on paying you. Because everyone charges interest and your backpay doesn't take that into account and the government could care less and feels your backpay is a bonus or something when that's actually money they owed you for years.

And read my first post again VERY carefully. I didn't use the word "me" or "I" ... I used the words "US" and "WE". Now, if you're an early backer of GOG from when Fallout was on here and you don't want the bonus games that are now being offered, then you don't speak for everyone. You speak for yourself and let others speak for themselves because you're trying to take something away from them and yourself when I'm trying to win something for them and even you.

Well, I'm not going to argue with you because you're just such an upstanding member of the community on here. Your resentment of the military is truly disgusting though. If guys like me hadn't served then guys like you would have been drafted. I chose to join so another man wouldn't have to serve in my stead. My father was a Vietnam vet who was drafted into a war he didn't want any part of. He came home really messed up and I thought it was so unfair and never want to see another man forced to fight for our nation. If that was "stupid" of me then count yourself blessed that there are so many "stupid" men willing to fight and die for YOU and others who seem to think that freedom comes freely! And no, I didn't use my veteran status to try to get anything from GOG. I brought that story up because I was called entitled and I don't think someone who serves their nation should be considered "entitled" in a negative context - especially from someone who claimed they think servicemen are "stupid". I served and that's selflessness. Period. Entitled is what the other guy is. He thinks servicemen are "stupid" but if other men hadn't served, then he might have been forced via military draft to have to serve. But I'm glad he has the right to hate his nation and his military so much. Makes me feel good that he's free to hate his own side so much. He should join ISIS if he really is against his nation though. I hear that's where all the haters end up.

I think he's angry because I get paid for my service-connected war wounds. But I don't feel bad at all about getting that money every month. I spent over a year at Walter Reed recovering and lost my military career because of being critically wounded. I spent 2 months in an induced coma. 3 months learning to walk again. 2 months learning how to write my name. The whole year I was getting painful skin grafts done on my arm and neck. Shitting and urinating out blood for about 8 months before it finally slowed down. Took about another 6 months for no blood to be found in my urine or stool. 4 bullet hole scars on my abdomen and three on my back. One round fused with one of my ribs. Shrapnel scarring on my right arm and neck in the areas where the heat from the mortar blast didn't melt my flesh off to the bone. Yeah, I don't feel bad about getting that check every month.

I'm not ashamed of anything I've written. And no, this isn't just about me as you can clearly read in my first post that I was asking a question on behalf of everyone as I used the words "US" and "WE" who bought the Fallout series when GOG was in its infancy and before they said that it was going away for good and never to return to GOG. GOG even told people that they needed to hurry up and buy these games before they went away if they wanted them and so many people spent their money at that point which was a HUGE money maker for GOG for sure at the struggle of many who might have been hard up for cash at that time but made the sacrifice to spend their hard earned cash to get the Fallout series before it went away.

I think you and the other guy are simply bullies. You have an agenda to make sure that nobody gets these bonus games and I can't understand why? Especially when you said they were free on Bethesda's website. I just think that if they are offering those games on here for people who buy the re-release of the Fallout series, the ones who paid for the Fallout series before should get those same games added to their GOG accounts the same.
