Typically, as I did when I played on steam, you open the launcher then hit "options" and you get a whole list of options to improve the quality and whatnot.
But, with the GOG version, that installer only has two buttons, "Install" and "Tech Support" with "Options" grayed out. When I hit "Install", the game tells me "Fallout New Vegas does not appear to be installed/ Try exploring your DVD-ROM drive and selecting setup.exe".
Such a file does not exist and it is installed, as I'm playing the game as long as I run it through the application and not the launcher. So how can I change the graphics settings if the launcher won't let me?
