everytime i start the game i only got a black screen in my oculus rift i hear the game sounds and on my dekstop i see the game but not in the rift..... what have i to do to get it working on rift cv1

I can get the image to work by launching it with a -vr switch ( create a shortcut to Everspace\RSG\Binaries\Win64\RSG-Win64-Shipping.exe -vr), but I can't select any menu options. Using cursors will scroll up and down, but there is no way to select as far as I can find. Good luck and share if you get further than me!

OK, solved that as well it's F to select menu items (of course it is.....). Once your in it's Q and E to navigate between tabs in menus, F to select and cursors to select anything else (perk upgrades etc.) Oh, except for the ship unlock tab, you need A and D to scroll through those.
When you're actually in flight, it controls much as in non-vr, with the annoying exception that your recticule is locked meaning it's actually harder to hit targets. Full VR support....love it.

In regards to all posts here: The VR mode of Everspace currently only supports Gamepads as input method, but we're working on mouse support for a future update. Really sorry for not posting here earlier, I and some others were not aware that there is a game-specific forum on GoG.
