Russian language? Is there any hope?

If the game had originally that language, it should be as easy as to find any copy of it and move this files to the GOG version:
SPEECH.DAT
TEXT.DAT
ATLAS folder

I think each country had their own files, unlike Theme Hospital, which had most languages available. So you must either find an old russian copy or wait for somebody to post the files from his copy.

KeeperFX seems to have Russian.

Yes! I found 3 different versions of the translation and uploaded them here DK-text-RU.7z
Here only the text and font. Voiceovers i have so far tried only in KeeperFX version and it is horrible for my taste. I prefer the original. In the archive of the three folders. To install extract the contents of one of the folders in the folder with DK. Number one (RU1) i chose the version where nice, large and readable font.

Can GOG include this translation to official installer please?

This might be solved by changing the Windows non-Unicode regional language settings to Russian?
