Many years ago this was the 1st first person shooter I ever played and I immediately fell in love with it. It was revolutionary in its day and is still rather advanced. I've played many fps since DN3D came out and I consider most to be lesser games compared to DN3D. What I find amazing is that the specialty weapons (pipe-bombs, trip-bombs) are actually very useful. In most games the specialty weapons have been more a gimmick than anything else and not worth using. I must admit that I don't play it nearly as much as I used to (busy being an adult), but I do enjoy it just as much now if not more. More than anything I downloaded it for the feeling of nostalgia and wow does it take me back. It's been years since I last played it and I still remember where enemies and secret locations are. However, I can't remember anything from high school chemistry class. Go figure.
