You know each time before playing a new game you go through the options... Well I saw Hardware 3D Audio disabled. I was like "hoh wtf D:", and enabled it. Since then I'm experiencing BSODs, caused by something like RtkHDAud.dll, which is a dll from the Realtek HD Audio hardware, quite common in a lot of motherboards.
So I was wondering wether the gog team disabled it because of these crashes or not... because if it's something unreleated I might want to hang myself.
Try updating your sound drivers and see if that helps.
I had a .dll file in another application give me BSODs and once I updated the software it went away.
Manhattan Project?
Hardware 3D audio usually refers to something like the or [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A3D]A3D, which obviously aren't part of the integrated Realtek audio system.

EAX not a part of integrated Realtek? Of course it is :o Not the last EAX, but the older ones surely.
And the drivers are up to date.

I've never seen anyone with a card that supports EAX, but I always saw those ads and the high end cards that supported EAX were always like 300 USD. Definately not in integrated cards.

Realtek sound chips have supported EAX 1 and 2 for several years now, and the newest ones presumably support even higher versions. The days of onboard sound being vastly inferior to dedicated cards in terms of features and sound quality are long gone.

I have a Realtek sound chip in this mobo I bought in december, 2006 and I never got any support for EAX :o
