Hey guys!
I'm having a issue with Duke3D.

When i'm in the 2. level (red light district) the game freezes on a specific point.
When i walk into the first building when i go through the pr0n "library" or what it is,
it just dies on me.

Issue is: I don't get an error, or i don't know if i get one.
It just freezes, and i tried everything from bashing esc, to ctrl+alt+del.
I can't get back on my desktop so it ends in a forced reboot induced by me,
and actually i rather don't.
I hated the controls so i tried eduke, and it worked fine.
I don't know if it's an issue with that or not since i never got through the first thing with the normal controls.

I run it on windows vista.
Hope someone had the same issue and found a solution.
Thanks in advanced.

I remember on my old machine some years ago when I ran Duke 3D Atomic natively I used to crash on the first level when going down into the sewers. It was a bug with the sound and there was a patch to fix it but if I remember rightly it disabled a certain type of sound thus preventing the crash.

Anyway, my advice is that if it works with eDuke32 then use that. It's a native Windows application and you can set it up to look and act just like the DOS game. But the improved control system that eDuke32 offers is by far the better option.
