POLE7645: OK. The launcher crashed in the middle of updating and I can't select "Play" anymore. Must I re-install the whole game?

Raze_Larian: Did you try the launcher again, and see if it can recover?

For Windows, did you try downloading the patch, and updating that way?
I tried the launcher again and it crashed again. A reboot made it complete the update (and the game worked afterwards).

I wonder if the crashing was due to the lenghty download (7 400 MBs). I did sent the error reports, though.
Above I mentioned the launcher wanting to download 7444MB of data, rather than the 300MB for the 1.0.132 to 1.0.169 update. Needless to say, I closed the launcher and downloaded the patch.

Now, though, when I start the Launcher (to see if the 1.0.177 update is available), it just resumes the previous download where it left off. It doesn't recognize the patch has been installed, and there is no option to re-check the game or cancel the download.
Today the launcher kept crashing on launch on my Mac, crash in strlen in applicationDidFinishLaunching. It started working again after I deleted the file /Users/Shared/Galaxy/Config.json.
won't update - keeps saying 'update postponed: game in session'

even though there is 100% no game ;) restarted, redownloaded -- nothing -- launching works though ;)
The Launcher updated itself again when I starter it (0.1.0.456), but is resuming an 8851MB download. I suspect the 1.0.219 update patch will be less than 8.6GB, so I'll wait for that.
Short story: Can't update - neither with the launcher nor manually :(

Long story:

I've read on a German gaming site that a new patch for D:OS had been released, so I went to my gog account and d/l-ed the latest patch (patch_divinity_original_sin_2.13.0.24). It was the only one available.

When I launched the patch it stated that it can't patch my version (Larian version 1.107). So I went to the forums, found this post and tried the launcher. It did not let me install the launcher as I'm participant of the The Witcher Adventure Game beta.

So I tried the different short-cut as suggested by apytkin, the launcher updated itself to version 0.1.0456 and then - nothing. It tells me that my D:OS is up to date even if I know perfectly well, that it isn't.

So the big question is: how can I update D:OS to 1.0.219 w/o downloading 10GB again. I have only a 1 MBit DSL line that would be blocked for days by it.

P.S.: and if gog insists on having a different versioning scheme than the developers - please add at least an overview of the mapping on the D/L page, this drives not only me nuts. :(

Contact GOG support to get links to the patches after the 1.0.107 game version that are no longer listed in the downloads for the game.
