This is why I can't wait for Galaxy :D ( Hope it has some rsync function implemented for patching :D )
I didn't have any trouble updating btw. Patch downloaded, installed and in-game version is reported as 1.0.81

patch_divinity_original_sin_2.6.0.13.exe - 7.40MB (CRC-32: 2f207ffe)
I am not sure if it is something only on my part but when I chose to start the game from the update menu with this and previous patch, nothing happened and I had to run it from desktop shortcut instead.
Maybe only problem here and certainly not big deal but I thought it's worth meiitoning.

Same here, actually. Clicking "launch" after patch completes doesn't do anything. I ran the game from the normal shortcut and it runs fine. Not a real problem for me, but worth noting.

I've been noticing the same after every patch for Divinity: Original Sin. I figured it was because I wasn't using the default install directory (I install GOG.com titles to D:\Games\GOG\), though it's never caused any problems with the actual patching process itself.. I wonder if there's any common factors between all of us or if it's just the game. Windows 8.1 64-bit here. Do you use the default install path or your own? I haven't paid enough attention to updates for other games. I don't usually try to launch them after a patch anyhow.

Hi,

I'm playing on mac so, do I have uninstall my previous version of Divinity and reinstall the new one or just launch the installer when the new version is download?

Thanks.

Windows 7 64-bit here, but also using a custom install directory. I've also never run into issues patching my games because of this, but it could be a factor.

There is no installer this time (i.e. double-clickable patch as it was in the case of 1.0.57 version) - you will receive whole game in .dmg file, so after mounting you have to move it to your /Applications folder as you did for the first time...It should ask you if you want to replace old version (click 'yes' for replace)... but you can also move old application to trash first, of course...

The same Windows with custom install directory here as well, so it is possible it is because of not using standard way. But it can find a directory for update so it should be able to find it for launch too.
Arrrrrghhhhh!!! Something is wrong again! GOG, please check it too (I checked it 3x):
Mac download links are indicating we should get version 1.0.81 and downloaded file I received is divinity_original_sin_2.1.0.22.dmg ...
But after launching the game it says it is "only" version 1.0.78... :(

yes, I have the same thing. But there is improvement. Last update had package at 1.4.0 and the binary inside was 1.0.67.0. Also, the previous package had another version number, but the binary inside was also 1.0.67.0. This time, package is shown as 1.0.81, when downloaded it is 2.1.0.22, and when installed, the game is 1.0.78. I have a suggestion for the next update : what about making the package shown as 2.0, then when downloaded, it comes down to alpha1, then when installed, it is version 6.2 ? Then you can argue that magic has spread amongst the versioning system and the game went into another dimension. Oh and btw, now I have version 1.0.78, am I able to change the language? Because I didn't see that in the game options. Thanks.
