I've invested about 16 hours in the game, but on the steam release.

I want to buy the game on GOG, but I'd rather not sacrifice my progress. Is there any way I can import the savegame (I know where they are on disk) in the GOG release?
The savegames are stored in the same place for the GOG and Steam versions, so you don't need to import anything. You can find the location of the savegames in https://www.gog.com/forum/divinity_original_sin_2/save_files_w10_to_mac_version/post2
