Which of those files is the 1.3 patch that I need to play online? There's like 7 versions xD

At present, this one: Windows pre-Beta version from 2015-01-23 FULL PACKAGE

The other files are all bundled into the full package, but are available separately as not everyone wants community maps, for example. But for most users, getting the full package will do the required job.

Okay, so I downloaded the fan patch. Now I'll just extract it all to "Daikatana/data/"?
How do I know it's working? I mean, is there something that sticks out that could tell me I did correctly?
And yes, I have the Gog version.

Anyone else experiencing a bug with v1.3 in Icelabs where you have to turn the valve to drain the coolant? If I turn the valve just like in Youtube walkthroughs, coolant doesn't get drained in my case. It remains at the same level, preventing me from continuing with the game entirely :( And I was so excited to finally finish this crappy segment of the game and continuing with Greece which I absolutely loved from the demo. Darn it.

A belated update:

I need to know something before I finally decide to play this: with the latest 1.3 patch, are my sidekicks NOT invincible on the Medium/Normal (aka Samurai) difficulty setting? Because I refuse to play with invincible (or absent) sidekicks and I am not playing this on Shogun (Hard)!

I read in a recent Steam user review that sidekicks are immortal on Easy, should be mortal on Medium but due to a 1.3 patch issue are actually invincible, and are only mortal on the highest difficulty setting - and that's with a ridiculous 5000 HP, instead of the vanilla 100 HP. I am all for bug fixing and making the game closer to what it was meant to be but invincible or otherwise overpowered AI sidekicks are NOT part of the original vision!

If someone knows how to contact the main developers behind the 1.3 patch, I would be interested! (I don't have a Steam account, mind)
