Starkrun: we are almost halfway though January and they promised a patch this month and next month that will solve BIG problems and may add content.
Well... there's two and a half weeks left before the end of the month.
We'll wait and see what happens.
Patch is coming on Friday:

CDPR seems to test patches for one/two day(s) before releasing them. The QA branch has been updated today and the testing will be conducted tomorrow and the day after maybe. If there are no issues with the patch it will probably be released on Friday.

that'd be nice, but I wouldn't count on it.

Imho the chances are high, unless there is some kind of issue with this patch.

I hope it fixes the ctd's I have every so often, whenver it releases.
No 1.07 direct jump to 1.1 coming in 10 days... see newest post in forum:
Oh new news post too!

Interesting message. Sounds reasonable, though while it addresses mainly console issues, there's no mention of cut content, story, etc. The game looks nice, and runs decently for me. For that, I'm grateful. But I really want to see some QoL improvements and deeper RPG elements and replayability. Multiplayer is of no interest to me.

Yeah all single player inprovements and fixing the ctd's are what I care about.
I still haven't gotten my refund yet. But I figured I'd try reinstalling with version 1.06, since I requested my refund before that patch came out and hadn't really messed with it in well over 3 weeks or so. Now it won't even install on my PC anymore. So it went from installing and not even loading at all. To crashing immediately on choosing my character's story path, to now not even installing whatsoever. The progress is phenomenal. XD

Well from this message it does not look like you will get any material improvements to the PC version other than bug fixing for the foreseeable future.
