Hi all,
due to problems found post-launch we are forced to temporarily remove 32bit version of Crysis Warhead from our build. We are working with the publisher to resolve this issue, but there is no ETA at the moment.

What about leaving the 32bit Binaries somewhere accessible to those who still wish to use them? I'm the first one to tell you that I do need them and at the earliest possible too, and I'm not joking about it. Thanks to GOG's lack of professionality now I'm stuck with a 64bit only version of Crysis Wars and Warhead.

I refuse GOG's apologies. On the other hand the one who's sorry here is me, had I known what you would do today I wouldn't have created the thread in the first place.

I want the download links for both Crysis Warhead and Wars which include BOTH the 32bit and 64bit versions of the games, regardless of the issues they have.

Is this about SecuROM? Because I just found out Crysis 1 is having a SecuROM issue as well. Will GOG fix this?

TLDR: Securom is not there but game thinks you're running a pirated version and you and your enemies bullets are replaced with chicken which deal 0 damage. Afaik it's only implemented in Crysis Warhead.

If you have used the Windows Registry before, could you tell me if Crysis put a bunch of SecuROM entries in there?

Just for the record as to why it's most likley there... as the poster is aware of, but others might not be.

SecuROM doesn't even work on Windows 10, and I have the game installed and working fine on Windows 10.

EDIT:

Correction: Certain versions of SecuROM won't work on Windows 10, so it's possible Cyrsis was using a version that would work. These still appear to be nothing more than dormant files however.

And your point is? It's the exact same files being installed on Windows 7 & 8. If it was actually working DRM then the game would fail when trying to install it on Windows 10.

I know you don't care about SecuROM, but many others on GOG do. I made this post to bring this issue to light so others on GOG may know about it.

I care about SecuROM, when it's actually installed. If or when that ever happens I will be right there with you complaining. However, complaining about non-working dormant files (which appears to be the case here) that don't do anything is a little silly.

You are free to use rollback feature if you need these files that badly, but a build with working copy protection will not be available for download.

I have Crysis on DVD, and it installed and played just fine on Windows 10. It just takes my external DVD drive forever to recognize that the disc is inserted. It's funny because I just bought the DVD copy from a used bookstore less than a week before it was announced here. I wouldn't have cared, but the fact that the GOG build includes the 64-bit executable made it a must-buy (again).
