Hello everyone,

I hope someone here might have a fix or help. I searched the internet far and wide and only found plenty of people with the same issue but no fix that works. Or I am just incapable as I never ran into such an issue.

I am trying to play the game with a gamepad on a Microsoft 10 System. The right analogue stick tho has only one axis in the game (which might be due to Microsoft only knowing one axis for the right stick). I already tried various emulators as the game itself does not support any gamepad mapping (which is dumb af).
My gamepad is super old, its an old Saitek. But in over 10 years on various OS there never has been an issue. The right stick works absolutely fine in other games. And whatever I am doing it just won't work in CrossCode.

So some help would be much appreciated as I would prefer to play in a more relaxed position.

Small Update:
The WoJ Emulator managed to somehow get the right analogue stick functional in the game. Although the horizontal line isnt working. So the 180° line doesnt work at all, everything else does. Obviously that is better but still unplayable. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

Additionally, since the WoJ Emulator, all other buttons are now totally random (even despite it is emulating a xbox controller which the game is literally supporting).

And generally playing the game with mouse+keyboard is a lot less fun and kind of a total shit show (aiming equals charged shots, making it impossible to aim while shoot normally and dash all at the same time).

If you think that's bad, try playing this game on MacOS. I originally played and finished this game on there using special drivers that emulated Xinput controls and ran fine with my Xbox One controller plugged into it. Then that all broke with the release of Catalina one year later and now I can't finish the expansion set content because I can't play the game with a controller anymore.

I'll spare you the details, but essentially the game still technically runs and is perfectly playable on the current versions of MacsOS, but because of how fragile Apple's APIs are when it comes to game support, as well as how console-like the developers designed controller input for this game, it's never going to get fixed. I've only found one very specific solution, and it absolutely sucks.
