AlexNobody: After I completed season 2, and checked out someone else's play through, I realized an episode was missing, I NEVER played the episode 'Black Out' it simply was MISSING from season 2. Anyone else have this bug?
According to the authors of the game, 2 episodes where removed in later versions (from Season 2 'Blackouts' and from Season 3 'Ironing Man') because they were not interesting enough.
The count is:
1st season: 5 episodes
2nd season: 6 episodes (1 removed: blackouts, reason: episode wasn't interesting enough and you always gained 100% audience anyway)
3rd season: 6 episodes (1 removed: ironing man, reason: not fun/interesting)
4th season: 7 episodes
5th season: 7 episodes
6th season: 1 big episode
Why removing? We know that some people think our game gets very repetitive and we treat first three seasons as big tutorials. Also the story really starts on the 3rd season. So we want the players to get there faster and tried to remove repetitive things the easier way which is clearly the episodes we removed. As stated by Joe Stanley Laserpants, blackouts was bad.
