Hi all,

We have uploaded a new build for Chaos Overlords that is patched to 1.1 and fixes several reported issues such as the minor visual glitches with flags not showing up. Please note that windowed mode is disabled.

And before you ask, yes, the screenshots have been changed on the game page :P

Sadly, i still can't play the game, and the windowed mode was the only way to play it.;)

Got a black screen after launching the game, i can see the top menu bar, and a hourglass mouce icon and nothing else. After i got fullscreen disabled via the registry i could play.;)

And the same trick [mentioned in the visual glitch thread] still works, also, the window can be moved, but taskbar dissapears.

Did you install the patch already? Are you running the game on a Windows 8 machine?

Yes, I download new version (setup_chaos_overlords_2.1.0.17).

Don't play the game in windowed mode as those white squares you have shown in another threadf (if this is the same problem you're referring to) ONLY appear when you play the either in windowed mode or on Windows 8.

You will be surprised but I play in fullscreen mode on win7.

Ahhh... Forget it. Allready running virtual XP machine & game works great on it.

If it's possible to fix, yes, we'll fix it. Keep in mind, however, that we don't have access to the source code and, thus, this severely limits our ability to fix these kind of things.

I too had trouble with the patched version. All I got was a black screen and an hourglass cursor. Then I decided to turn off all the compatibility settings (including "run as admin") and now it works flawlessly.

Damn it, doesn't work for me, i just sent a support ticket since no blue responded to my problem on the forums.
