why no one mentioned emperor-rise of the middle kingdom here? the final city builder game of impressions, it's a gem too, we shouldn't forget this one as well, hope we could see this series on GOG very soon

I completely agree. Emperor actually introduced a multiplayer mode as well.

Thing is, would Emperor suffer from the same slow motion hero characters as Zeus does?

I got Caeser 3 and Pharoah+Cleopatra here on GOG as their issues are only slight and don't change gameplay, and the speed throttle works when set below 100%. But Zeus I avoided because of the slow motion hero/god characters that does affect the gameplay.

Thanks for the thread link, darksunds. Looks like quite a few people have posted there recently.

I have, too. I'm being a bit greedy, since I haven't played all the other Impressions games, yet, but I'd still like to have Emperor available.

There seems to be a reliable way (using BES) of solving that bug. See the big slow gods thread on Zeus' forum.

I'm currently playing Zeus and having fun with it. Gods be praised !
