I don't know if anyone of the developers even reads the GOG forums, but I have encountered a recuring crash right at the start of the livre ex machina area.

Once you enter it, there is a short cut you can take (the stairs you have to let down after moving around the book shelfs).
It has like a 50/50 chance to crash, but it will crash sooner or later. Crashed the first time I took the shortcut, then I reloaded, could enter and leave 2 times and then it crashed again.

I couldn't even get into the game. Got black screen right at the start.
No help at all. Same with Ghostwire: Tokyo. Had both games refunded (steam).
I had the same problem with many UE4's games, no video only sound, it turns out it was a conflict with video codecs like Shark007, DIVX... just uninstall them all and restart.
