It's a playable alpha so of course there will be bugs. You can't expect it to be perfect from the get-go.

Did he release the source for it? I know it's Java and it's fairly trivial to decompile the jar files to text, but it would still be interesting to see what makes Blood, Blood in relation to the the Build code that was already released.

Well, that's sad. At least the port seems to be working perfectly so far.

Main game seems to run perfect (not cutscenes yet), cryptic has some weird purple textures but he didn't focus on cryptic yet...

I did. I felt weird sometimes but then I realised what it was on my end: I set the controls to modern FPS controls but didn't notice that "a" was bound to strafe left and look left. I messed something up there so when I strafed a bit it welt like the mouse was behaving strange. Hadn't have an issue with the mouse yet... So maybe some key bindings are double in your configuration as well.

If you have purple textures in Cryptic, try to rename CPART07.AR_ and CPART15.AR_ to TILES007.ART and TILES015.ART.

one thing that bugs me though is the tombstone immediately in map 1. In the original game the sprites would stay put, in this version they turn just like sprites usually to do but with tombstones it's a bit jarring
