I own all of your games here on GOG. I also happen to have Gemini Rue on Steam too, and noticed it has had at least 4 updates on Steam, including one this year while the GOG version is still the original 2011 release build.

Worried that other games might be out of date, I decided to do some digging through GOGDB and SteaemDB. From what I can tell, Gemini Rue, and all of the Blackwell games have not been updated to the same version available on Steam.

It appears that your newer games have been receiving the same updates as Steam, but you seem to have forgotten about your older games.

Another user from the GOG community (MarkoH01) contacted Dave Gilbert from Wadjet Eye. Apparently he wasn't aware of the update disparity and will look into it: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens_v2/post2247
He should have been aware, as I attempted to contact him several times and was ignored. I tried as far back as 2017, and again a few days ago. He's active on the Steam forums, and used to be here. He ignored my and other's question there asking about updating the GOG versions. I tried email, and twitter, and never got a reply. He occasionally streams on Twitch. I managed to catch one of his streams and again he ignored my question about his games on GOG, while answering other people's questions. There were only about half a dozen viewers, so it's not like my messages got buried in chat spam.

I posted about Gemini Rue back in the original Games that treat GOG customers as second class citizens thread about it back then as well, and someone else said they had him on their Steam friends list and attempted to contact him.

ugh, that's dissapointing.
I believe they have all been updated, but GOG hasn't release all of them yet. I checked GOGDB, and it shows all Blackwell games received new builds recently. Blackwell Legacy is the only one that has new downloads, the rest show new builds added, but no downloads yet. Gemini Rue received an update on Steam today, and GOGDB shows an new build added today as well, but the downloads are not available yet. So it appears that the developer has sent updates, and GOG is just taking its time putting them out.

I forgot to reply earlier so you would get the notification. In addition to what I posted above, I just checked GOG Galaxy and the games are up to date there. The offline installers are not up to date yet, so it does seem to be a case of waiting for GOG to get them done.
offline installers have been updated today

(gemini rue too)

Guys, I understand the frustration, not to use as an excuse, but it's difficult for someone to handle 13 games and also develop and do other things. And it's difficult to answer to all of the questions sometimes. Especially those you don't have an answer to.

I'm handling the games now [which explains all these updates], both on GOG and STEAM. And we're not treating you as second class citizens, currently the delay on the GOG side relates more to their QA process, the builds are uploaded at the same time.

Anyway, I'm always here to help out, I just wanted you to know that. It's difficult to always check on every forum we have, but my twitter handle is @Dualnames and you can follow me, I'll follow back and you can dm me, or you can just @me on twitter I check it daily with anything and I'll respond.

If you don't use twitter, my discord is Dualnames#4664 if you want to add me there. Or.. if you don't feel like adding me, just mail me at thanaspanos at gmail dot com, i check my mail literally every hour, and have phone notifications.
