Hey everyone,

GrapeOcean the developer here. First of all, many many thanks to GOG, the GOG community and all players here for your support and input so far. Our team is working very hard to process all feedback and fix as many issues as possible with the game.

We are constantly collecting bug reports and feedback, even if we aren't able to answer them in every case.

Before assembling a bug report, we ask you to make sure that your latest version of the game is installed from GOG.
For bug reports, please Alt+B in the game to open its form.

We hope you join our journey to make this an awesome RPG that brings back the best moments of the best traditional CRPGs so far, as a modern, polished and immersive adventure!

I have one Radeon RX 590 8GB and in my opinion, in general, the GPU gets too hot for what the game offers graphically.

Are there plans to improve optimization?, because the game looks really good and at this rate I'm going to have to wait for the cold months to be able to play it :P

Un saludo.
FEEDBACK:

The starting equipment should have the weapons you chose to skill up in.

I chose to put all my points into heavy blades (was going sword & board), only to find that you don't have one.

I know it's only the prologue, but this feels like "wasting" points.
Thank you for your feedback, sotomonte and Ichwillnichtmehr!

It was forwarded to the developer team. They are working hard to address all issues and bugs as soon as possible.

I think and not 100% sure that the heavy blades (or large sword skill?) applies to big 2 handed swords. You want to invest in small blades if you want to go sword and board.

-SPOILER------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------

There are a bunch of 1 handed swords that drop from the very first fight in the estate, I know the game seems like its rushing you to go hide in the corner but you actually have a lot of time to pick up whatever you want from the bodies.

I know, and I did pick them up.

It's just something that bugs me when RPG's don't give you the weapons your PC trained in.
If you use two candles in witch's hut at the beginning, although she'll keep using her dialog about giving one more, no candles appear in the inventory effectively breaking the main story.

It is perfectly possible not only for pc to die in the opening combat, but also for the duke which also breaks the main quest - well, for those few seconds before pc die a horrible death fighting an enemy horde, that is.

No real explanation what each character stat does. I've tried to understand, for example, how strength (phy) affects the damage, but it's almost impossible to do so. Probably the damage computation is way more complicated than it should be. Same goes for chance to hit. Whenever anything happens in combat, there should be an option, highlight, whatever, showing exact details, what was added to what, what subtracted, what basic and final success chance, etc.

Melee characters are boring as hell. Every few seconds one attack animation. At least there should be a stat that decreases attack time. Special abilities, at least on lower levels, were boring as well. What about AoE attacks, combat jumps, and so on. It seems that Pillars Of Eternity I and II were at least partially an inspiration for this game, so why not use it to the fullest?

All in all, so far it seems pretty raw, although promising.

Is it just me, or the game supports only 16:9 resolutions? What about other proportions (16:10, 21:9 etc)? Will they be supported?

Thank you for your question. The developer team is working hard to address this as well.
Im not sure if this is a bug or not so i will ask it here :

1. Is there a limit of how many times you can pickpocket the same NPC ? I have pickpocketed one guy 3 times in a row and never failed although a have only 1 point invested into pickpocketing.

2. Why NPCs show no reaction when you are lockpicking/bashing their chests in front of them? Also I have never failed to open any containers that i stumbled upon during my journey.

3. How do i add Crafting recipes to my compendum?

4. About World "Greedstatistic" / Reputation

Is it working or just a placeholder for the future updates?

1. There is no upper limit for how many times you can picpocket an NPC, only the amount of stealable items they carry. Failure will currently only bar you from getting their items, but NPCs will react by turning hostile or running away later down the line.
2. We are still in the process of setting up crates for stealing interaction. The system will be introduced with a later update.
3. Copying recipes to the Compendium is currently turned off due to some problems we encountered with in. It will be restored in a future update. Once it is active again, recipes you read will automatically be copied to your Compendium.
4. Reputation does not interact much with gameplay currently. As you suggest, it will find its use in later updates.
Hello.
I killed Aldnar, sent medic to Deron Guld. Talked to Isla in tavern (Curious Cat). There was some window that I have 2-3 days to continue my journey.
But everytime I come to Isla, she says "Or it's you. I still not finished devising plan. Come back later".
I rested about two weeks and there is no change.
Is this a bug?
Can I fix it editing JSON save file?

Hello!

No, it isn't a bug. This is the end of Early Access Phase 2. (When you talked to Alumu, there was a window popup thanking you for playing Early Access.) You can, however, continue your savegames in the Full game as well, since the Full game (released in the current quarter of 2022!) will be compatible with Early Access savegames.
Hi, I tried the game some months ago on EA without problem.

I just reinstalled it yesterday, and when I launch it I first have the GrapeOcean screen, but after that I have a blue and pink screen (see attached file) and the game dones nothing.

My config is a Dell G5 SE 2020 with a AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and a RX5600M.

Sorry to hear about your issue. Did you verify if the download isn't corrupted?

You might need to reinstall the game, also deleting the %APPDATA% folder of the game too:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\GrapeOcean\BlackGeyser

Note that deleting the above folder will delete your savegames as well. To prevent that, you can make a copy about particular savegames. We don't recommend saving the whole savegame folder, because in theory, the corrupted install can also be caused by a corrupted savegame.
