One of my family members and I would like to play bg3 on the same pc with different profile/saves.
I thought we only had to log in win 11 with different profiles and create 2 larian accounts.
However, as I logged in the 2nd win 11 profile and logged in a 2nd larian account, I found out that the saves from the first account were there. I am not sure if it is because the gog finally has cloud saves for bg3 since I logged in gog galaxy in the 2nd win 11 profile.

How can I have 2 users playing on the same pc with separate saves with gog?
Thanks.

you can play co-op where you plug a extra controler into the computer and both share the same [split screen] system to play as a team

the other option is multiplayer on two different computers over the internat

You did not specify if you have the Enhanced Edition or not. (The Classic edition might store the game saves in the C:\ directory, which has been deprecated because it is higher risk than using a secondary drive.)

I have no experience with Win11. In previous versions of Windows I would diagnose that your game is configured to store the game saves in a common subdirectory, like Public (in the Users folder, where each account has their own eponymous subfolder).

Otherwise you might like to install the game twice and restrict each to alternate accounts. It is wasteful of storage but should effectively work-around your challenge.

he has BG3... there is no Enhanced Edition but he should have posted in the BG3 forum

as a side note yes W11 will run the EE of Bg1&2 outside of C program files and yes running the older builds on a W11 system are a issue/ impossible depending on hardware & drivers

D'Oh, I see that now. :|

In that case I have no idea because I have yet to be impressed enough to purchase it …. Maybe when it is 90% off.
