Has anybody else gotten the Steam Overlay to work with Baldur's Gate II? I have a mod setup with BGT, I added Baldur's Gate II to the Steam games list using the add non-steam games feature, enable steam community in-game is setup but I can't access the overlay using shift + tab. Am I doing something wrong?

I guess the overlay works only for 3D games. You can try enabling the 3D acceleration in the Baldur's Gate configuration utility. If it's not going to help then probably nothing will.
Try adding just bgmain.exe to Steam, bypassing the launch menu. That might work... it works for me at least. I do have a couple of bugs to report though: 1. it corrupts the UI, but opening and closing another screen (like the inventory screen) usually takes care of that problem. 2. Somtimes upon entering/exiting the overlay, the game will randomly open up another screen - simply close it if that happens. Little annoyances for me, but still worth it just so I don't have to sit and wait for my party to walk from one side of the map to the other.
I added BGmain.exe and that didn't work but I did go to options in the config and enable 3D and that work, the only problem is that when I bring the overlay up anything menu-related goes black and I have to hover my mouse over the black stuff to get it to go away. When I'm in the game, the actual game is fine but when I bring up the overlay the UI goes black. Anybody else get this?
Yeah you'll have to open up another screen (the inventory, for example) and close it. That's probably the fastest way to correct that problem.
