I hate to ask this, as it seems others have asked variations on it already, but I can't seem to find a concrete answer to this question:

If I do not have any physical disks for BG1 and 2, and only buy the two GOG packs, will EasyTuTu still work for me? I want to play the games in order, but I hear that BG1 interface is a pain compared to that of BG2.

Or should I just be a purist and play BG1 vanilla?

It will definately work as I have recently done it myself. There were some complications at first so I ended up having to completely uninstall and reinstall fresh versions, but Easy TuTu installed fine after that.

Remeber to read the FAQs and that your existing savegames won't work so you have to start a new game. If you want to install any additional mods make sure to read the other topic in this forum that give advice on which order to install them.

I have no existing savegames, since I haven't owned them before. I'd just be getting the digital copies.
