So a friend of mine bought this game and now can't get it to run on his windows 8 laptop. Is there any fix for this?

Is your friend still under warrantee?

As for the game it runs well (both with 8 and 8.1) on my Asus Sonicmaster laptop.

What system does your m8 have and what kind of error is it... also 8 or 8.1 which is it?

We figured out it was the downloader but we're now having issues with multiplayer through game ranger. Even tried to do IP and it wouldn't connect us.
