I was considering buying the BG games here on GoG but the store page says BG is version 2.5. Is 2.6 available? Is it available without the auto updater of the galaxy store? Will 2.6 be a file I can download along with the installer? I've tried finding the file itself on the beamdog site but I can't find it there either.

I'd prefer not relying on the Galaxy store if possible.

The account library page on the website is currently broken for me, but gogrepo successfully pulled what appears to be the 2.6 version. I can't install it since it's 64-bit, so I don't know if it actually works.

Looking at it, there is a 2.6.6 out that I haven't downloaded.

the current [and default] version is 2.6.6 and that is the build you get from Galaxy or offline installers

you can roll Galaxy back to 2.5 but without Galaxy you can only get the current so 2.5 needs Galaxy to install but 2.6.6 does not
