I've been playing Baulder's Gate 2 EE for a while on my pc. Going out of town and was hoping to continue on my laptop while I'm on the road. I installed it, enabled sync saves with cloud hoping that it would be all I had to do. Saves don't show up. I actually copies over the saves from the user\bg2\cloudsaves\ from the pc to the laptop and it still didn't work.

I have different user names and directory structures on win7 pc and win 10 laptop but I'm logged in to gog so I guess I hoped it would work.

Hopefully I'm missing something simple.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I tried again this morning and it seems that the issue is with multiplayer games. It works as expected with single player games.

-Edit

Copying a save folder in the mpsave folder on one computer to the mpsave folder on the other works. Initially I copied the cloudsaves folder. That didn't work.

It's too bad the multiplayer cloud saves don't work automatically. like the single playuer. Copying the save folder over every time I want to go back and forth will be a pain.

Is this a bug? As intended? Do I have a setting wrong somewhere?

How many files need to be copied? If it is just one, then you could possibly just email it back and forth. Might be easier than copying the whole folder.

I don't know whether this is bugged or not.
Thanks for the reply. Looks like about 8 files and maybe a half a meg so email should be ok.

To make your life even easier, I suggest making a shortcut on each computer's desktop to the relevant saves folder. Less mucking about with folder navigation that way, and it is very easy to locate.
