Can I buy Baldur's Gate The Original Saga on GOG.com and play in France ?

The game doesn't realize where it's being played. If you can buy the game from GOG and download it while being in France (and I see no reason why you shouldn't) then you can also install and play the game in France. And anywhere else in the world. That's one of the benefits of having no DRM.

What's so special about France concerning Baldur's Gate? Some weird licensing stuff perhaps?
