If I had a fighter in BG1 and imported that to BG2, can I apply one of the BG 2 profession kits (like kensai) to the imported character? Its been too long, I can't recall if this is possible.

yup, you can use kits when importing character from BG1

Thanks for the reply. I've only just realised tutu actually adds the kits into BG1, but I'm pretty sure its a bad idea to use certain kits in BG1 due to the lower starting level, so I'll probably just stick to base classes.
