I just finally beat Baldur's Gate 1 for the first time. I've imported my character into BG2 and have finished the intro dungeon but I did not find my Golden Pantaloons anywhere. Did I need them on my character when I imported? I'm guessing I did but I was hoping the game would just keep track for me. I'm not sure if I want to replay the last two hours of dungeon (not to mention the last fight at the end of BG1); can I cheat/hack/use a editor to just give myself the Pantaloons? And what about Drizzt's swords? I know the game supposedly knows if you import a character that killed Drizzt but should I have the swords in my main PC inventory? Is there anything else I should make sure my main PC has on them when I complete BG1?

The pantaloons have to be in the inventory of your imported character, else they are not available without cheating. Drizzt's gear does not import. It's cheat only (Drizzt makes an appearance in BG2). If you want to give yourself the pantaloons, you can simply use the console:

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("misc47")

Not counting the pantaloons, only two items from a list can be imported.

Ah, thank you very much. That would explain why the only item that crossed over was the Helm of Balduran. Tempted to go back and replay final battle to keep my Chain Mail of the Dead +3 but meh, not worth it. I will be hacking the pantaloons back in, thanks for the console command! Cheers.
