Hello everyone,

Can someone help?

I have installed BG 1 & 2, the BGT mod, and I can't get the game to run properly.

I've set the display option (both in game and outside the game) to be fullscreen, then to windowed mode.
I've also try launching the game in 800x600 and in a wider format.

Everytime I launch the game, I end up having the game displayed in full screen, but within a small window with huge black border all around it.

As I play on a laptop, I've read something about forcing my NVidia card to ignore the game request to change the display size, but I haven't find of way of doing that.

Can some of you help me getting the game to work with a proper diplay, please ?

Thanks in advance :)
What scaling options have you got in the Nvidia Control Panel?

I only have the 3D Settings part. Not "Display" or "video" ... I guess that why I can't fix it. Thanks for the picture, it helped me pin pointing my issue :)

That is probably because your display is not currently connected to the Nvidia GPU.
If you click on the Physics tab you should see a diagram showing which graphics card is connected.
Does you laptop have Nvidia Optimus?
Do you have any scaling options in your Intel HD Graphics control panel? (see pic)

Hello man! Thanks for taking the time to help me, and merry christmas to you.

My PhysX settings were still set to "auto". Directed them to my GTX970M

I don't think I have optimus. Can't find it on my computer. how do you DL it from Nvidia website ? cause I don't find it in any thing "Nvidia" on my computer.

I have a scaling option on my HD Graphics. Was set to "center". Just set it to "stretch to full screen". Will reboot and try to relaunch BGT, but it didn't solve it so far.

Thanks again :)
What is the make & model of you laptop?
Where you set the scaling to full screen, did it also have an option to override application settings, like in the attached pic?

Can you post a pic of your Intel HD Graphics Control Panel?

What is the driver version for your Intel graphics drivers?
