Just downloaded BG:EE and I'm having issues with screen resolution when in fullscreen mode. Anyone else experiencing this or have an idea on how to fix it? Exiting fullscreen mode seems to force the game to scale, so I can work around it, I'd just prefer to play in fullscreen :)

I'm running on my Surface Pro 3, so I'm in Windows 8.1 at 2160x1440 resolution.

Thanks!

2160x1440 is a pretty high 3:2 resolution. I'd try running the game in a smaller res with the same aspect ratio (e.g. 1440x960 or 1200x800). If the game isn't able to handle them, choose a 16:10 resolution, which is close to your native resolution with small bars on top and bottom (e.g. 1920×1200, 1680×1050, 1440×900 or 1280×800).
If you don't want it to be slightly stretched make sure the selected scaling option in your graphic card's control panel is the one that keeps the aspect ratio.

Sorry for reviving a really old thread, but did the solution work? I am also looking to get a Surface Pro in the near future.

It's been a while since I implemented the solution, but if I remember correctly, I was able to fix the issue by disabling scaling for the program in windows (right-click > properties > compatibility) and possibly by disabling the scaling within the game itself. Sorry, I know it's not much to go on, and I can run some tests on my Surface Pro again if you're in need.

Don't worry about it. I ended up buying a different computer anyways. I love the Surface Pro, just can't really justify the price of it right now. Thanks for the information.
