During the recent bundles on GOG, I bought the Dungeons & Dragons' bundle. All the games work, except for two games : the first one is Neverwinter Nights but I already solved the problem alone (compatibility mode...). The second game which doesn't work is Baldur's Gate : Complete Edition.

My problem is simple : when I launched the game, I see all the movies from editors and developers of the game and then, the intro cutscene. The problem is, when the cutscene finishes, the game crashes and the message "Tales of the Sword Coast is not responding - Windows is checking for a solution to the problem".

I already tried to launch the game in all the compatibility mode but the game always crash at this moment with the message error message.

I thank you if you find a solution.

It is very possible that your path file names are too long -- BG is a very old game. Uninstall the game (don't just move it), and if you have administrative rights, install the game directly to the C: drive like so:

C:\Jeux\GOG\Baldurs Gate\

If you don't have administrative rights, then install to:

C:\Users\Thibaut\Jeux\Baldurs Gate\
It works! Thank you! Thank you so much! ^^
