A week or two ago, I tried to download and install Baldur's Gate 2 from GOG. I had learned from this forum that all three files needed to be downloaded in order for the install to work but I noticed two of the files were .BIN files. Even though I believe I downloaded each of them, I cannot seem to find the .BIN files (maybe I forgot to download them).

I was wondering if there was some special program that I need to download in order to find these files or for my computer to read or recognize them. I apologize if I sound dumb but there are still some things about files, software, and compatibility that I still do not fully understand.

Make sure you download all three files to the same folder. You don't need to be able to open the .BIN files - the setup.exe file will do all that for you when you run it.

You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files if you've downloaded the .BIN files and can't find them.

If you're running Vista or Windows 7 right click the setup.exe and run as ADMINISTRATOR.
